The department of Nippes (Haitian Creole: Nip) is one of the ten departments of Haiti. Located on the north coast of the Tiburon Peninsula, it covers an area of 1,268 km2. In the Nippes department Manmi Dine (also called Mama Deane by some American Visitors ) is ready to welcome you at her colorful guesthouse located right on the river stream. You can enjoy the cold water that comes down from Saut du Baril waterfall.  Perfect spot for morning showers, breakfast and massages. Plus, Manmie Dine will make sure you eat a wide variety of Haitian dishes. A true “Grandma’s house” feeling.
